How It Works
Otrivin contains Xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.1%), which acts on the blood vessels in your nose. It quickly reduces swelling, drains sinuses, and relieves nasal congestion caused by colds, allergies, or hay fever. Added moisturizers soothe nasal irritation and relieve runny noses.
How to Use
For adults and children 12 years or older only.
Do not use in children under 12 years.
Blow your nose before use.
Hold bottle upright, thumb under base, nozzle between first and second fingers.
Prime pump by spraying into the air until mist appears (first use).
Tilt head slightly backward, spray 2 times in each nostril.
Breathe deeply after spraying.
Replace cap after use.
Use every 8-10 hours, up to 3 times daily.
Do not exceed recommended dosage.
If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor or pharmacist. To avoid infection spread, use only for one person.
When to Use
For temporary relief of nasal and sinus congestion due to colds, allergies, or hay fever.
Warnings
Do not use with other decongestants.
Do not use for longer than 3 days.
Do not use if allergic to ingredients.
Do not use in children under 12 years.
Storage
Store at 15°C to 25°C.
Do not use if seal is broken or carton ends are torn.
