Dosage Instructions

Adults

• Take 1 to 2 tablets, once or twice daily, ideally at bedtime

• Each tablet contains: 17.2 mg of standardized sennosides derived from natural senna

• Maximum daily dose: 68.8 mg of sennosides (no more than 4 tablets per day)

Children (Aged 6–12)

• Take 1 tablet, once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime

• Each tablet contains: 17.2 mg of standardized sennosides from natural senna

• Maximum daily dose: 34.4 mg of sennosides (no more than 2 tablets per day)

Frequency

• Adults: 1–2 times daily*

• Children: 1–2 times daily†

* Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours
† Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours

Cautions and Warnings

• If you experience cramps, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, reduce the dosage or stop use.

• Do not use if you have fecal impaction or unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms such as pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever, as these may signal an intestinal blockage or ileus.

• Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or persist.

• Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs.

• Discontinue and consult a doctor if rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement occurs, as this may indicate a serious issue.

Consult your doctor before using if you:

• Are taking diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, or any product that may worsen electrolyte imbalance

• Have a kidney condition or are on heart medications like cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmics

Note: Prolonged or frequent use of stimulant laxatives can lead to intestinal dependency, reduced bowel function, dehydration, or electrolyte imbalances (especially low potassium levels). Combining with other substances that lower potassium may increase this risk. Overuse can result in an atonic colon.

Overdose Information

• Overuse may cause cramping, severe diarrhea, dehydration, and low potassium levels (hypokalemia)

• In the event of overdose:

  • Drink fluids

  • Monitor electrolytes, especially potassium

  • Seek immediate medical attention by calling Poison Control, your doctor, or visiting the nearest emergency room—even if symptoms are not immediately apparent

Keep out of reach of children.
